OPTIONS Model 7516 personal eyewash station shall include one 16oz bottle
of sterilized isotonic buffered solution with a shelf life of 36 months
from date of manufacture. The bottle shall have a sealed yet easily
removable cap that would indicate previous use and renders the
bottle useless for refill. The bottle shall also have an ergonomic
design that allows for easy handling ( grabbing) and squeezing for
fluid delivery. The recyclable high impact polystyrene ( HIPS) wall
mount holder shall be ANSI Safety Green in color and support one
bottle of sterilized isotonic buffered solution that is easily
removable.
SPECIFICATIONS
Personal eyewash stations should be kept in the immediate vicinity
of any person in a potentially hazardous area and shall be in an
unobstructed and accessile location that require no more than 10
seconds for the injured person to reach. The main purpose of this
unit is to supply immediate flushing to the eye( s) . With this
accomplished, the injured individual should then proceeed to an
ANSI compliant plumbed or self contained eyewash station and
flush the affected eye( s) for the required 15 minute
